Overview

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn cynnig cyflwyniad i brif themâu a chysyniadau hanesyddol a llenyddol y cyfnod o ddiwedd yr Oesau Canol i ddechrau cyfnod Moderniaeth. Bydd yn ymwneud â’r prif feysydd a ganlyn, gan astudio detholiad o awduron a gweithiau allweddol yn eu cyd-destunau:

  1. Y Diwygiad Protestannaidd; o fyd y llawysgrif i fyd y llyfr print
  2. Y Dadeni a Dyneiddiaeth; dirywiad y traddodiad barddol
  3. Y Diwygiad Methodistaidd
  4. Diwylliant poblogaidd a thorfol y Gymraeg
  5. Yr Ymoleuo a thwf Rhyddfrydiaeth

Bydd iaith eu mynegiant efallai’n ansicr ar adegau.

-good -(B): Da Bydd myfyrwyr da (graddau B) yn arddangos galluoedd sicr yn yr holl agweddau a nodwyd yn y paragraff uchod, gan gynnwys safon eu hiaith ysgrifenedig a llafar.

-excellent -(A): Rhagorol Bydd myfyrwyr ardderchog (graddau A) yn arddangos y galluoedd sicr hyn ar draws y meini prawf, yn ogystal â dyfnder arbennig yn eu gwybodaeth a/neu gywreinrwydd eu dadansoddi.
