Overview

Bydd y traethawd hir yn gosod y pwnc ymchwil a ddewiswyd yn ei gyd-destun ehangach e.e. llenyddiaeth academaidd, hanesyddiaeth, methodoleg, fframwaith theoretig, fframwaith daearyddol/archaeolegol. Bydd yn gosod cwestiynau ymchwil a bydd strwythur yn cael ei lunio. Bydd yn disgrifio ac yn dadansoddi'r pwnc a ddewiswyd gan ddefnyddio ystod o dystiolaeth wreiddiol ac eilaidd berthnasol. Ysgrifennir y project mewn dull trefnus ac academaidd.

Assessment Strategy

-threshold -TrothwyBydd myfyrwyr (D- hyd at D+) yn dangos sgiliau ymchwil boddhaol mewn rhannau o leiaf o'r pwnc a ddewiswyd ganddynt, a byddant yn gwneud ymdrechion rhannol lwyddiannus o leiaf i archwilio a dadansoddi'r wybodaeth ac i ysgrifennu'r project mewn dull academaidd.

-good -DaBydd myfyrwyr da (B- hyd at B+) yn llwyddo'n gadarn yn yr holl ddeilliannau dysgu a restrir.

-excellent -Rhagorol: Bydd myfyrwyr rhagorol (A- hyd at A*) yn cyflawni'n gyson gadarn ar draws y deilliannau dysgu, ac yn cyfuno hyn â gwreiddioldeb, gwybodaeth eang o'r pwnc a ddewiswyd yn ei gyd-destun ehangach ynghyd â dadleuon a dadansoddiad treiddgar a soffistigedig.

-another level-DaBydd myfyrwyr lefel C- i C+ yn llwyddo'n ddisgrifiadol yn yr holl ddeilliannau dysgu a restrir.
