Overall aims and purpose

  1. Cyflwyno myfyrwyr i amrywiaeth o agweddau'n gysylltiedig â chyfieithu cymhwysol.
  2. Cyflwyno myfyrwyr i dechnolegau cyfieithu.
  3. Cyflwyno myfyrwyr i feysydd cysylltiedig, megis cyfieithu ar y pryd.

Course content

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn cyflwyno myfyrwyr i gyfres o sgiliau methodolegol ac ymarferol a fydd yn eu galluogi i ymgyfarwyddo â chyfieithu. Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu astudio agweddau o gyfieithu cymhwysol, yn cynnwys cyfieithu peirianyddol, meddalwedd cyfieithu, cyfieithu llenyddiaeth plant, theori terminoleg ac ymarfer i gyfieithwyr etc. Cânt gyflwyniad hefyd i gyfieithu ar y pryd, maes cyfagos. Bydd y dulliau a astudir yn ymwneud ag amrywiaeth eang o ieithoedd a diwylliannau, yn cynnwys Saesneg, Cymraeg, Sbaeneg, Ffrangeg, Almaeneg ac Eidaleg.
