Overall aims and purpose
Nod y modiwl hwn yw rhoi gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth sylfaenol i fyfyrwyr am ddefnydd technoleg i gynorthwyo i gyfansoddi ffurfiau ar gelfyddyd sonig. Trwy gyfres o brojectau, bydd myfyrwyr yn archwilio ystod eang o raglenni technolegol a dulliau o gyfansoddi, gan ddefnyddio’r weithfan sain ddigidol a rhaglenni meddalwedd creadigol eraill sy’n darparu llwyfannau hyblyg a chymwysadwy sy’n ofynnol er mwyn mynegi creadigrwydd cerddorol arloesol yn yr oes fodern a thechnolegol sydd ohoni.
Bydd myfyrwyr yn defnyddio ein cyfleusterau stiwdio ac adnoddau eraill er mwyn defnyddio ymdoddiad sain acwstig (a grëir gan offerynnau neu ffynonellau eraill) a thechnoleg, er mwyn mynegi creadigrwydd trwy ddefnyddio amrywiaeth o dechnegau cyfoes o gyfansoddi ac o drin sain er mwyn cyfansoddi darnau gweledigaethol o gelfyddyd sonig. Bydd y projectau a gwblheir trwy gydol y semester yn arwain at gyfres o gyngherddau ar ddiwedd pob semester, lle caiff myfyrwyr gyfle i arddangos eu gwaith.
Bydd y modiwl yn rhoi’r gyfres o fedrau sy’n ofynnol er mwyn symud ymlaen i fodiwlau Blwyddyn 2 sy’n archwilio creadigrwydd ac arbrofi ymhellach, trwy’r broses o drawsffurfio a saernïo sain er mwyn datblygu ffurfiau ar gelfyddyd sonig.
Course content
Bydd y modiwl hwn yn darparu dealltwriaeth o ffurfiau celfyddyd sonig trwy gyfres o ddarlithoedd a sesiynau seminar ymarferol. Bydd myfyrwyr yn archwilio a thrafod amrywiaeth o raglenni technolegol ar gyfer trawsffurfio a thrin sain er mwyn creu darnau o gelfyddyd sonig sy’n addas i gyfryngau sefydlog a byw (i’w berfformio). Bydd portffolio o waith cwrs yn arwain at gyngerdd byr ar ddiwedd pob semester, lle bydd myfyrwyr yn cael y cyfle i arddangos eu gwaith.
