Overview

Nod y modiwl hwn yw darparu'r technegau cerddorfaethu sylfaenol sydd eu hangen i fod yn gerddorfaethwr neu gyfansoddwr llwyddiannus heddiw. Bydd yn cynnwys astudiaeth drylwyr o gerddorfaeth gan gyfansoddwyr o'r cyfnod Clasurol hyd heddiw, gan ganolbwyntio yn ei dro ar yr holl adrannau offerynnol a'u defnydd o fewn y gerddorfa. Asesir y modiwl gyda nifer o ymarferion cerddorfaol o amrywiol heriau sy'n mynd i'r afael â'r gwahanol faterion technegol a chreadigol.

Trydydd Dosbarth: D- i D+ (40%-49%) Yr elfen allweddol yma yw creu syniadau cerddorol. Mae ffactorau a all gyfyngu marc i’r lefel hon yn cynnwys: adeiledd global gor-syml neu or-gymhleth nad yw’n cynnal y deunydd sydd ynddo nac yn cael ei gynnal ganddo; ymresymiad cerddorol i’w weld yn anaml a defnydd cyfyngedig ar ddeunyddiau; syniadau cerddorol yn brin a/neu o werth amheus; anghydbwysedd mewn undod ac amrywiaeth ar draul diddordeb cyson (yn arbennig drwy ailadrodd deunydd yn anfeirniadol); amrywiaeth o ran priodoldeb defnydd ar adnoddau offerynnol, lleisiol, sonig a/neu dechnolegol; techneg wedi’i chyfyngu i lefel weddol sylfaenol; rhai ymdrechion sylfaenol, er nad llwyddiannus bob tro, i reoli neu i ffurfio cymalau, cyflymdra, tempo, deinameg, seinlawnder neu ansoddau; cyflwyniad digonol gan mwyaf, er gyda rhai diffygion sylweddol, a deunyddiau y gall fod angen eu diwygio i raddau cyn y gellid eu defnyddio’n ymarferol mewn perfformiad.

Ail Ddosbarth Is: C- i C+ (50%-59%) Creu a realeiddio technegol ar syniadau cerddorol i gyflawni gwaith terfynol sydd, yn gyffredinol, yn effeithiol yw’r brif nodwedd sy’n teilyngu marc yn y categori hwn. Mae ffactorau a all gyfyngu marc i’r lefel hon yn cynnwys: adeiledd global nad yw’n cynnal y deunydd sydd ynddo nac yn cael ei gynnal ganddo yn llawn; diffygion ysbeidiol yn effeithiolrwydd ymresymiad gerddorol; rhai agweddau ar syniadau cerddorol heb eu harchwilio neu heb eu datblygu’n ddigonol; dyfeisgarwch i’w weld ond yn gyfyngedig; llwyddiant cymysg yng nghyfosodiad effeithiol a pherthynas syniadau a deunyddiau; peth anghydbwysedd mewn undod ac amrywiaeth (yn arbennig trwy orddefnydd o ddeunydd heb ddatblygiad); defnydd amhriodol achlysurol o adnoddau offerynnol, lleisiol, sonig a/neu dechnolegol; techneg gadarn ond nid bob amser yn hyderus a llyfn; ffurfiant a rheolaeth gerddorol ysbeidiol a chyfyngedig o ran cymalau, cyflymdra, tempo, deinameg, seinlawnder neu ansoddau; rhai diffygion cyflwyniadol, gyda pheth cyfyngiadau ar ymarferoldeb y deunyddiau mewn perfformiad.

Ail Ddosbarth Uwch: B- i B+ (60%-69%) Creu, realeiddio technegol a threfnu syniadau cerddorol dychmygus i greu gwaith cyffredinol sy’n argyhoeddi’n esthetig yw’r nodwedd wahaniaethol yn hyn o beth. Mae’r cyfansoddiad yn dangos y rhan fwyaf o’r canlynol: adeiledd cyffredinol huawdl ac effeithiol; ymresymiad cerddorol clir, a grëir wrth archwilio a datblygu syniadau a deunyddiau cerddorol; syniadau cerddorol creadigol a huawdl; cydbwysedd da rhwng undod ac amrywiaeth, fel bod y cyfansoddiad yn cynnal diddordeb ac yn gydlynol; defnydd priodol ac effeithiol ar adnoddau offerynnol lleisiol, sonig a/neu dechnolegol; defnydd cadarn ar ddulliau technegol priodol; sensitifrwydd da wrth bennu brawddegau, arwyddion, cyflymder, tempo, deinameg, seinlawnder a gweadau, gan ddangos dealltwriaeth o’r effaith gyffredinol a gânt ar y gwaith cerddorol gorffenedig; safon dda o gyflwyno, gan roi sylw i fanylion a chyda rhywfaint o dystiolaeth o ystyriaeth o ymarferoldeb y deunyddiau perfformio.

Dosbarth Cyntaf: A- i A (70%-83%) Creu gwaith cyflawn cyffredinol sy’n afaelgar, yn ddiddorol ac yn foddhaol o safbwynt esthetig, a hynny trwy ddychymyg cerddorol a meistrolaeth dechnegol barhaus. Ni ddyfernir marciau yn y band hwn ond mewn achosion eithriadol, lle mae’r cyfansoddiad yn cynnig profiad cerddorol llwyr afaelgar a grëir trwy wreiddioldeb creadigol gwirioneddol, ynghyd â realeiddiad technegol cwbl sicr.
