Bydd y modiwl hwn yn dadansoddi'n bennaf yr agweddau seicolegol-gymdeithasol ar ddibyniaeth ar sylweddau yng nghyd-destun y teulu i ddarparu archwiliad trylwyr o:

  • Pam mae pobl yn camddefnyddio sylweddau
  • Beichiogrwydd ac ysmygu, yfed a defnyddio cyffuriau
  • Beth sy'n digwydd i blant pan fydd rhieni'n cymryd cyffuriau
  • Yfed a'r system ofal
  • Gofalwyr ifanc a rhieni sy'n ddibynnol ar sylweddau
  • Byw gyda brodyr a chwiorydd sy'n gaeth
  • Plant sy'n cam-drin sylweddau

  • Adfyfyrio’n feirniadol ar eu profiadau dysgu eu hunain a’r cysylltiad rhwng hynny a’u syniadau a’u barn eu hunain ynglŷn â phlant a chamddefnyddio sylweddau.

  • Adnabod yr asiantaethau a’r gweithwyr proffesiynol a all weithio gyda phlant sy’n camddefnyddio sylweddau eu hunain neu sydd â rhieni’n camddefnyddio, ac adnabod anghenion y plant hynny.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth feirniadol oblygiadau ehangach camddefnyddio sylweddau ar blant a phobl ifanc, yn cynnwys ymarweddiadau cymdeithasol, agweddau cyfreithiol, dynameg deuluol a dylanwadau cyfoedion.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth feirniadol o’r theorïau cyfredol ynglŷn â chaethiwed i amrywiaeth o sylweddau, a’r modd y mae’r rhain yn berthnasol i blant a phobl ifanc.
