This session will provide a brief introduction to using AI (artificial intelligence) to support qualitative data analysis and interpretation. Please note that you should have attend Workshop I: Introductory NVivo session before attending Workshop II. Workshop II assumes basic knowledge of NVivo and an understanding of qualitative data coding. We will explore some of the practices such as AI driven auto-coding in NVivo and look at what generative AI may have to offer.  Ethical considerations, how to document the use of AI transparently, and best practices for integrating AI with human interpretation in qualitative studies will be an important part of this session. 

In order to get the most out of the session, you need to download NVivo on to your laptop (contact IT helpdesk, helpdesk@bangor.ac.uk ), otherwise you will not be able to join in.
