The Postgraduate Students’ Society

The Postgraduate Society is a student-led society, which provides vibrant extra and co-curricular activities for all postgraduate students here in Bangor. The society works to create a lively and engaging University-wide postgraduate community alongside the Students’ Union and academic schools.

All postgraduate students are automatically members of the society, and welcome to get involved in creating and suggesting events. You can contact the society committee on facebook.

Committee

The Society has a committee that run the organisation and events. We are currently looking for people to get involved with the running of the society. Anyone interested should email or contact us via Facebook.

Events

We hold events for postgrads, such as a Christmas Celebration and Coffee Mornings.

Representation

The Students’ Union are responsible for representing postgraduate students to the University, through the President and the Postgraduate Senators. However, we work closely with the SU to ensure that the postgraduate experience is given the attention it deserves. One of the ways we will help the SU do this is attend their feedback sessions for Postgraduates – if you want to play a part in shaping your experience and education here at Bangor then you should come along too; keep an eye on The Students Union website and Facebook for upcoming events. You can always come to us with any issues and we can help make sure that you speak to the right people.
