Harrison Carter is a PhD researcher exploring pathways to better integrate economic systems to incentivise coexistence between humans and wildlife. Closing the biodiversity funding gap will require a fundamental shift in how finance interacts with nature. Yet what this looks like in practice is often hard to see. The funding gap itself is complex, and the policies alongside investments intended to address it are more complex still.
This talk aims to demystify this landscape, exploring how these approaches are being developed and highlighting where conservation science has an essential role in shaping nature investments. Join us on to better understand this evolving space and consider how you might engage.
