Graduation 2019 - Julius Muyombya - From Ugandan street child to First Class student

Julius Muyombya's life changed when he met a Welsh pupil who was on an African outreach project. Julius was a street child in Uganda with no formal education. Christine, from St Davids College, Llandudno was determined to bring him to study in north Wales.

Graduation 2019 - Emily Gaunt - Psychology

Emily Gaunt has enjoyed her three years at Bangor University studying Psychology. As well as being a member of some of Bangor's clubs and societies, Emily was a vlogger for the Get Ready for University channel on YouTube.

Shammi Rahman, from Dhaka, Bangladesh graduated with a first-class BEng Electronic Engineering degree, and also won the Dr John Robert Jones Prize of £600, which is awarded annually to the best students across all disciplines at the University.
