Have you ever wondered how humans are able to complete amazing feats such as deep-sea diving? This taster session explores how the human body adapts to the extreme conditions of deep-sea diving. It examines how the lungs, heart, and brain respond to challenges such as high pressure, cold temperatures, low oxygen levels, and physical exertion, and how training enables divers to cope with these stresses. The session is suitable for anyone interested in sport science, medicine, or human physiology and will be delivered in English.
