Supra-vision (supervision of supervision) is a recommended guideline for mindfulness-based supervisors by the UK network of mindfulness-based training organisations, see guidelines There are many similarities between supervision and supra-vision and also some differences which will be discussed.
This training is set up for those wishing to become or who are already supra-visors. It is an experiential and interactive training to help explore what supra-vision is and develop skills in supra-vising other supervisors.
The training will be delivered in a small closed group of six people who will meet via Zoom (electronic platform) for 1 ½ hours on six occasions. The sessions will have a structure to them and be facilitated by Alison. There will be plenty of space for reflection and dialogue. After each session participants will be invited to reflect on and practice aspects covered in the session.
As this is a new training feedback will be sought and ideas incorporated into the content and shape of the sessions.
