Info for 8-week course graduates

We offer two monthly ‘Follow up groups’ for 8 week course graduates. It is fine to come along now and again. The teacher will lead a practice and there will be some space for conversation about practice.

Bangor Follow-up Group

THIS GROUPS WILL NOT BE MEETING IN BANGOR OR ROWEN AT PRESENT BECAUSE OF COVID-19 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.  WE WILL BE HAVING ONLINE MEETINGS ON THE ZOOM VIDEO PLATFORM INSTEAD.

Information will be sent out to the Follow-up Group emailing list - to be added to this list and for immediate queries, please contact Judith Soulsby on j.g.soulsby@bangor.ac.uk (Bangor group) or Rebecca Crane r.crane@bangor.ac.uk (Rowen group).

18:30–20:30 on last Monday of the month, except on Bank Holidays when it is on an earlier Monday see the dates below:

2019: 19 August, 30 September, 28 October, 25 November, 16 December

2020: 27 January, 24 February, 23 March, 27 April, 18 May, 29 June, 27 July, 24 August

Location:  Wheldon Building, Bangor University Science Site, off Deiniol Road (opposite the large Deiniol Library which used to be a school).

The car park barrier into the Science Site should be raised, if not, you can press the silver button under the speaker on the barrier upright, and when Security answer, ask to be let in.

If the front door of the Wheldon Building is locked, one of the teachers will let people in. The group meets on the first floor, at the end of the right-hand corridor, in Teaching Spaces 5 and 6.

If you would like to be included in a monthly email reminder for the Bangor Follow-Up Group, please contact Judith Soulsby on j.g.soulsby@bangor.ac.uk. These emails also give information about other local mindfulness events of interest. If you have a query about the Bangor group, Judith may also be able to help.

Rowen Follow-up Group

We have monthly teacher led mindfulness practice sessions delivered online, and occasional in-person events in Rowen, near Conwy in North Wales. All welcome

For more information and to be added to the mailing list for this group contact Rebecca Crane (r.crane@bangor.ac.uk)
