Course Application

From 1st August 2018 Bangor University will be licensing the delivery of our Continuing Personal and Professional Training programme to The Mindfulness Network. The teachers delivering the courses will remain the same after this change. This means that the operations and finances of the delivery will be hosted outside the University, but you will still be attending an event that will receive certification by the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University. If you are on the Teacher Training Pathway your learning journey will continue as planned, including the opportunity to take the Certificate of Competence within the University at the end of the pathway.

For events up to 31st July 2018 Bangor University will continue to manage the application and payment process. For events beyond this time and whilst we are in this transitional phase, you will sign up to the event using the University’s existing application process. Your application will be transferred to The Mindfulness Network who will then complete the registration and will invoice you. In due course the booking and finances will be entirely held within the Mindfulness Network. During the transitional period there may be a delay in issuing an invoice; once an invoice is received please pay promptly in order to secure your place.

For further information on this transition please read the recent blog by Rebecca Crane.

If you have any questions about this process please contact Gary Smith (
