Yes, we guarantee accommodation to undergraduate Clearing applicants who:
- apply for a full-time course starting in September
- apply for a course based at our Bangor campus
- choose Bangor University as your Clearing choice on UCAS by Thursday, 27 August 2026
- book your Bangor University accommodation by Monday, 31 August 2026.
After accepting your Clearing offer on UCAS, you will receive an email from Bangor University within 24-48 hours with instructions on how to apply for accommodation.
You will be asked to:
- Go online via a link in your email
- Complete a simple accommodation application form
- Choose your preferred hall and room type
If you apply for a place in halls before the 31st of August deadline, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your preferred room, subject to availability at the time of booking. Early application gives you the best choice of accommodation.

Yes, as a Clearing applicant you can meet other applicants before arriving here by joining the Campus Connect app.
You'll be invited to join the app by email, which will also include your Bangor University reference number that you'll need to register with the app.
Once you're in, you can make friends with other applicants in your chosen accommodation and on your course and chat with current students.
No, the accommodation guarantee does not apply to:
- Courses not based at the Bangor campus
- Part-time students
- Applications made after 27 August
