Patholeg Cellog 2025-26
MSC-3019
2025-26
North Wales Medical School
Module - Semester 2
10 credits
Module Organiser: Bethan Davies-Jones
Overview

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn ymdrin â datblygiadau diweddar mewn meysydd dethol o batholeg gellog, gan adolygu agweddau allweddol ar fioleg cellog a moleciwlaidd a thechnegau clasurol a moleciwlaidd. Bydd cymhwyso'r astudiaethau hyn i ddatblygiad meddygaeth glinigol hefyd yn cael ei archwilio.

Sylwer bod y modiwl hwn yn cynnwys delweddau graffig, disgrifiadau, a thrafodaethau am amrywiol annormaleddau cellog a meinwe, clefydau ac anhwylderau. Gall y cynnwys gynnwys delweddu manwl o gelloedd a meinweoedd yr effeithir arnynt gan heintiau, llid, canser, a chyflyrau patholegol eraill. Yn ogystal, gall y modiwl ymdrin â phynciau sensitif megis salwch terfynol ac effaith y cyflyrau hyn ar gleifion a'u teuluoedd.

Sylwer: Mae'r modiwl hwn yn elfen graidd o'r rhaglenni gradd BSc Gwyddorau Biofeddygol achrededig a gynigir gan yr Ysgol Gwyddorau Meddygol ac Iechyd. Mae'n bosibl y bydd cynnwys y modiwl a'r asesiadau yn heriol i fyfyrwyr nad oes ganddynt y wybodaeth gefndirol ragofyniad briodol am ffisioleg ddynol, anatomeg, bioleg gell, a phatholeg gellog.

Nod y modiwl hwn yw ehangu gwybodaeth myfyrwyr am batholeg gellog a moleciwlaidd. Bydd cymhwyso'r astudiaethau hyn i ddatblygiad meddygaeth glinigol hefyd yn cael ei archwilio.

Assessment Strategy

RHAGOROL - Categori A (70%-100%): Mae asesiadau a gwblhawyd yn cyflwyno deunydd addysgu perthnasol cywir iawn, wedi'i integreiddio â nifer o ddeunydd darllen y tu allan i'r testun craidd a rhai ffynonellau gwybodaeth hunan-ymchwiliedig. Mae traethodau, atebion ac adroddiadau'n cyflwyno dadleuon cydlynol a threfnus iawn sy'n dangos gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth gyffredinol ragorol o holl ddeunydd y modiwl. Mae tystiolaeth o feddwl beirniadol manwl a darllen ehangach yn bwysig ar gyfer graddau A+ ac uwch.

DA - Categori B (60%-69%): Mae asesiadau a gwblhawyd yn cyflwyno deunydd addysgu perthnasol da, cywir ar y cyfan, wedi'i integreiddio â pheth darllen y tu allan i'r testun craidd. Mae traethodau, atebion ac adroddiadau wedi'u trefnu a'u strwythuro'n dda, yn cynnwys dadleuon cydlynol da, ac yn dangos gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth gyffredinol dda o holl ddeunydd y modiwl.

LEFEL ARALL - Categori C (50%-59%): Mae asesiadau a gwblhawyd yn cyflwyno deunydd addysgedig cywir a pherthnasol ond gall fod diffyg esboniad a chyd-destun. Mae datganiadau yn gywir ar y cyfan ond nid ydynt yn cael eu cefnogi ymhellach. Mae traethodau, atebion ac adroddiadau'n ddigon cydlynol ac wedi'u cyflwyno'n dda i ddangos dealltwriaeth gadarn o ddeunydd modiwl.

TROTHWY - Categori D (40%-49%): Dylai myfyriwr trothwy feddu ar wybodaeth sylfaenol o'r ffeithiau hanfodol a'r cysyniadau allweddol a gyflwynir yn y modiwl hwn. Dylai traethodau, atebion ac adroddiadau dangos gallu i drefnu deunydd darlithoedd perthnasol yn ddadl gydlynol. Gall yr ateb gynnwys gwallau a bylchau gwybodaeth.

Learning Outcomes

  • Crynhoi'r prif fathau o gelloedd yr ymchwiliwyd mewn cytoleg gynaecolegol.

  • Gwerthuo yn feirniadol gyfyngiadau'r dulliau mwyaf cyffredin a ddefnyddir mewn patholeg moleciwlaidd.

  • Gwerthuso yn feirniadol gyfyngiadau'r dulliau a ddefnyddir mewn cytoleg gynaecolegol ac an-gynaecolegol.
