Overall aims and purpose

Meithrin cyswllt cynnar a rheolaidd rhwng staff a'u tiwbiau personol gan ategu'r system gofal bugeiliol yn yr Ysgol.

Cyflwyno'r myfyrwyr i natur amlddisgyblaethol gwyddoniaeth forol.

Annog myfyrwyr i ddarllen yn ehangach o amgylch y pwnc a ddewiswyd gan y pwnc a ddewiswyd.

Addysgu sgiliau mewn ysgrifennu traethawd a chyflwyniad llafar ac addysgu hanfodion defnyddio llyfrgelloedd ac annog hyn.

Course content

Mae'r modiwl hwn wedi'i gynllunio i gyflwyno ystod o sgiliau sydd eu hangen ar gyfer gradd gwyddor forol ac i annog darllen ehangach mewn gwyddoniaeth forol. Mae'n cynnwys darllen dan gyfarwyddyd a'r arfer mewn cyflwyniadau llafar ac ysgrifenedig. Cynhelir sesiynau tiwtorial rheolaidd (7 i 10 myfyriwr fesul grŵp) drwy gydol y flwyddyn pan drafodir sgiliau ysgrifennu traethawd, sgiliau cyflwyno llafar a gwybodaeth haniaethol o'r llenyddiaeth wyddonol. Bydd y modiwl yn cael ei asesu gan ddau aseiniad traethawd, dau gyflwyniad llafar, un aseiniad haniaethol ac un aseiniad cyfeirio.

Communicate ideas very effectively in both the essays and presentations, using high quality slides and self-drawn figures. Fully understand the ideas being communicated in both the essays and presentations. Able to abstract a scientific paper demonstrating full understanding of source material. Present high quality scientific data in the form of figures which are of a professional standard.

Communicate ideas effectively without deviation from the point both in the essays and presentations, using appropriate slides and self-drawn figures. Show a basic understanding of the underlying principals of the ideas being communicated in both the essays and presentations. Able to abstract a scientific paper demonstrating good understanding of the source material. Present adequate quality scientific data in the form of figures which are of a professional standard.
