Governance and Risk Office

The University Secretary has strategic oversight for the Governance and Risk Office, which is led by the Head of Governance and Risk. The Office is responsible for effective governance at Bangor University as defined by the University's Charter and Ordinances. 

The Office oversees the running of Council (and its sub-committees), Court, Senate, the Executive Board, and Council and University Sub-Committees. In addition, the Office is responsible for the University’s risk management framework and the corporate risk register, and manages the internal audit plan.
