Postgraduate taught programmes
Usually, postgraduate applicants should have, or expect to attain, an appropriate first degree with a minimum of second class honours. Some programmes may require a higher degree classification. Alternative qualifications or experience may also be acceptable as equivalent. Please see individual courses and country specific entry requirements for international students for further details.
Research degree applicants should have an excellent appropriate degree with first or upper second class honours, or equivalent.
For information and further detailed guidance on entry requirements for International Students, including the minimum English Language entry requirement, please visit the Entry Requirements by Country pages on the International Education Centre section of our website.
If you are over 25 years old and do not have appropriate academic qualifications, don't worry because applications from mature applicant are not always subject to our standard entry requirements. The applications will be considered individually. Also, a minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience can be recognised as an entry qualification and may be accepted.
