Why did you choose to work in the NHS?

To help people when they need it the most.

Describe what you do?

I work as an AAP/EMT as part of an emergency ambulance crew responding to 999 calls within the West Midlands. I work independently and also as part of a crew on a daily basis at all times of day and night. I am currently also completing through work my paramedic registration.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

The ability to help people.

What would you say to someone thinking about a career in the NHS?

Absolutely do it. It is the best decision I made.

How would you describe the NHS in one word?

Heroes.
