Postgraduate Study at the School of Medical Sciences
The School of Medical Sciences offers a range of postgraduate taught courses aimed at doctors, health professionals and professions allied to medicine. The courses are being developed with a understanding of the nature of postgraduate education required in the health profession based on our experience and work with clinical and health professionals locally, nationally and internationally.
Excellent research and teaching links
Where possible, the courses are intended for undertaking on a part time basis with many of them designed to build up through Certificate and Diploma qualifications over a period of time to suit individual student needs and with multiple exit points. PhD opportunities are also available. The School has excellent research and teaching links with the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board which is one of the largest in the UK. Many staff hold joint appointments which will afford postgraduates excellent exposure to leading clinicians and ensure the programmes are grounded in modern medical practice.
