Bangor University's Marketing, Recruitment & Communications department is responsible for a wide range of marketing and communications activities.
Schools Liaison and Events
Our Education Liaison and Events Team are responsible for organising the University-wide Open Days and UCAS Applicant Visit Days, which receive throusands of visitors to the University campus. They arrange Education Liaison and Widening Participation activities and represent the University at higher education fairs throughout the UK and Europe.
Communications and Public Affairs
Our Communications and Public Affairs department includes the Press and Public Affairs team and the Communications team, who manage the University's social media accounts.
On-line Marketing and E-Communications
The web & digital marketing team works closely with other web team members in IT services to ensure that the website is up to date and offers the latest information on our courses and research activities, as well as providing prospective students with valuable information about living and studying at Bangor University.
The CRM team is an integrated team drawing together staff from within IT Services and Corporate Communications and Marketing.
This team is responsible for the University's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and works with staff from a range of departments to deliver engaging electronic communications messages to prospective students in the UK and internationally.
The publications team prepares and produces award winning publications. The publications produced are aimed at prospective students and applicants and include the undergraduate prospectus, the postgraduate brochure and various School specific leaflets and brochures. They also contribute towards other external publications and websites.
