If you're interested in finding out about our postgraduate courses, you can attend our Postgraduate Open Days, which are held each Spring or Autumn, or you're welcome to visit us on one of our University-wide Open Days.

Postgraduate Open Day - Wednesday 22 November 2017

This open event is designed to cater both for current Bangor undergraduate students considering their postgraduate options, and for non-Bangor students who wish to visit the university campus to learn more about the programmes on offer and the study environment at Bangor University.

In either case, the Open Day is an ideal opportunity to:

  • learn about the Bangor student experience
  • speak to academic and support staff
  • find out about postgraduate funding
  • visit academic departments
  • talk to current students
  • take a look at university accommodation

Programme of the day:

12.30pm - Arrival and registration (Main Arts, PJ Hall)

 

1.00pm - 2.30pm - Postgraduate Courses Fair (drop-in event, PJ Hall)

A chance to have an initial chat with students/staff from academic departments and support services in our main hall (refreshments provided)

2.00pm - Presentation: Postgraduate Study and Funding (Main Arts Lecture Theatre)

Hear about the Bangor postgraduate student experience and get some advice on postgraduate funding

2.00pm - Presentation for international students (Rathbone building)

Information from the international perspective. Room 325, International Education Centre, Rathbone Building,

2.30 - 4.00pm - Visit your intended academic department

Take a trip to your proposed department of study for a more in-depth insight into your prospective course

2.30 - 5.00pm - Short accommodation tours (departing regularly from PJ Hall)

Have a quick look at some of the accommodation available to postgraduate students
