We’re far easier to get to than you might think – there are good road links to Bangor along the north Wales coast from the M56 and M6.
By road
Postcode LL57 2DG will bring you to the Main Arts building, where our Postgraduate Event begins. University staff will direct you to one of the free of charge University car parks around the Main Arts building, and student guides will then show you where you need to go.
If you follow the Bangor University signs around Bangor and you'll arrive at one of our car parks (where parking is free of charge). Guides will then show you where you need to go.
By train or bus

By ferry
From Ireland, you can cross on the ferry to Holyhead which is half an hour away from Bangor.
By air
Both Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are around two hours from Bangor, by train or car.
Parking at the University car parks is free of charge. Parking for our Postgraduate Event is in the University car parks around the Main University Building on College Road where staff will direct you to available car parking spaces. Use the postcode LL57 2DG in your Sat Nav or follow the signs for the University. Upon arrival, please make your way to the Prichard-Jones Hall in the Main University Building, (get directions on Google Maps).
There will NOT be a park and ride facility from the car parks along Deiniol Road).
