Scanning at the top of Mont Blanc - Understanding the Hypoxic Brain

This is a collaborative project between the School of Psychology and the School of Sports, Health and Exercises Sciences aiming to reveal how the human brain adapts, responds and changes when there is less oxygen available.This Specialist research is possible due to the cutting-edge facilities housed in the Collage of Human Sciences, including a state of the art 3-T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner, the hypoxia environment chamber and ultrasonography facilities.
