Enrolment And Registration
Yes, they're the same! Online enrolment is the registration process. It's a compulsory step that unlocks your student email, timetable, and everything else you need. You'll receive an email with a link and instructions to complete it. Try to do it as soon as you can, but don't panic if you can't right away. The sooner you complete it, the sooner you'll get access to all your university systems.
You'll receive an email with the link for online enrolment, and this will include your Bangor University username. This is also your email address, which is typically in the format of ABC25XXX@bangor.ac.uk. Your account will become fully active once you've completed online enrolment.
No. Online enrolment should be completed before you arrive. When you move into your accommodation, you'll complete an in-person ID check and collect your student ID card. This is the final part of the registration process. If you are not living in university halls, you can do this at a designated registration point on campus during Welcome Week.
Timetables And Modules
Timetables are released from 10 September 2025. Once you've completed online enrolment and chosen your modules, it will take about 72 hours for your personal timetable to update.
Your timetable will be visible via the My Bangor intranet site and the Bangor App.
If it's been more than 72 hours since your modules were added and you still can't see your timetable, contact the Timetabling Team for help.
Welcome Week
Some sessions are compulsory, like your School induction events. Others are optional social activities. It's a great idea to attend as many as you can to meet people and get to know the campus, but don't worry if you can't make every single thing.
