Travelling to Bangor

We’re far easier to get to than you might think – there are good road links to Bangor along the north Wales coast from the M56 and M6.

There are direct trains from London (~4 hours), Manchester (~2.5 hours), Crewe (~2 hours) and Cardiff (~4 hours).

International travel - the nearest airports are Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Manchester Airport, and Birmingham airport, which are all around 2-3 hours away. The nearest port is Holyhead, which has direct sailings from Ireland, it is a 30-minute journey from Holyhead to Bangor.

Accommodation

We have 40 campus residence rooms newly released (14th March) for £25 a night (room only), which are within walking distance of the main University buildings, shops, cafes, bars, fitness centres, and laundrettes.
