Applications are invited for the above fixed term, full time post working in the School of Chemistry.
The successful candidate will have A PhD in a life science related subject (or close to completion).
The individual recruited to the post will be a high calibre post-doctoral research scientists with a broad skills base for research study design, set-up, implementation, data analysis / interpretation and reporting. These individuals will have expertise that fits into the main research themes of the CALIN Operation, including: precision medicines (diagnostics, sensors & therapeutics), regenerative nanomedicine and biocompatibility evaluation. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting all feasibility and medium-term research activities and will also be involved in the delivery of network conferences and technology workshop events.
The scheme has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme.
The successful candidates will be expected to commence as soon as possible and the post is available until 30 November 2020.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
