Creative Director at Cufflink
Studied: BSc Creative Technologies, 2019

I decided to study at Bangor University after taking a gap year, as I wanted to further my education in the field of computer science and design. The location itself was a big plus for me, being an adventurous individual who likes the outdoors!

"The course itself allowed me to explore both the creative and technical side of computer programming and design. The flexibility of the course modules and projects allowed me to discover an interest in UX design that would lead me to my first job in the industry.

"As Creative Director at Cufflink, my role is incredibly varied. No two days are the same and that's just part and parcel of working for a start-up. There is always a new challenge to be completed. But for the most part, I lead the overall brand and creative direction of the company with a primary focus on the UX/UI design of our mobile application along with leading our marketing efforts.

"My third-year dissertation project was a great help to me on the road to my current career. The introduction of a final year presentation session enabled me to speak with local businesses about my project and skills, and this is how I met my current employer.

“The teaching offered at Bangor University is top-tier and the courses and modules are designed to give you the cutting-edge skills you need to enter the working world.

"Bangor University has it all; you will enjoy a good social life, make great friends, and it will really help push you out of your comfort zone and try something new!"
