Research Description
I currently work as a research PhD student at the Natural Environment Department of SENRGy. The initial focus of my research is about heavy metals pollution. I aim to study several sites in Wales where there is significant contamination of soils by heavy metals as a result of long term mining activities. My focus is evaluating the ability of the number of natural and engineered amendments to reduce the availability of copper, lead, zinc and cadmium in two selected locations in Wales.
