Regenerative Placemaking through the geographies of food.
Dr Eifiona Thomas Lane & Ms Sian Pierce

The research aims to describe a range of detailed profiles of case study foods and food innovations using space and place based branding initiatives on a global scale. The study will adopt a structured and robust systematic approach to qualitative data gathering approaches e.g. focus groups including the possible application of the Delphi Technique in a bilateral EU member state comparison. The drivers and barriers for establishing successful localised food production chains and networks using appropriate examples within scaled policy contexts will be explored to generate best practice exemplars of successful place-making foods based on space and place.
