The DSP Centre is pleased to announce that Dr Md Saifuddin Faruk is joining the DSP Centre as Senior Lecturer later this year.
Dr Faruk is a recognised academic in the field of optical fibre communications, having worked as Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, UK. He also served as a Marie Curie Research Fellow in the University College London (UCL) and the University of Cambridge, and worked as visiting researcher at Telekom Malaysia (TM) R&D, Malaysia, VPIphotonics GmbH, Germany, and Orange Polska, Poland. His research interests include DSP algorithms for coherent transceivers and optical access networks.
