What you can expect from us:
Information
We deliver subject-specific information sessions in your academic timetable, providing information and signposting on careers relevant to your degree subject. We also produce a wide range of useful handouts, videos and printed materials, such as our Career Exploration tutorial.
Workshops and Events
Our regular workshop schedule covers a wide range of topics, delivered by staff, employers and alumni. We also host events including careers fairs and employer and alumni presentations.
Tools and Resources
Access lots of useful tools and resources such as career planning questionnaires and practice competency tests used by graduate recruiters.
Assistance and Advice
Our Employability Advisers can provide guidance on all matters of career exploration, research and management, and offer support with CV and application feedback, interview preparation and much more.

Jobs and Work Experience Opportunities
Search and apply for local part time work, volunteer roles, paid internships and graduate jobs, work experience and placements to name a few!
Our GO Wales team offer students experiencing barriers to employment one-to-one support in exploring, finding and completing work tasters and work experience, helping them develop their experience and their confidence.
Our Undergraduate Internship Scheme offers all undergraduate students the opportunity to apply for a paid 80 hour internship hosted by a University department / academic school – an opportunity to gain valuable work experience and build confidence and contacts.
Enterprise & Self Employment through B-Enterprising
We encourage and enable our students and graduates to develop their enterprise skills and explore self-employment through workshops, events, competitions and other opportunities. We also offer business mentoring, funding and incubation to those interested in business start-up.

Recognition and Celebration
The Bangor Employability Award is a comprehensive online course that you can work through at your own pace, taking you through all the steps you need to take to explore, prepare and apply for your dream career. Students who complete the Award receive a certificate and formal recognition on their official degree report.
Support and Encouragement - from business mentoring to application support, we want you to achieve success!
Once you register as a student, you can log into the Hub to find out more and access resources – this will also link you to Bangor TARGETconnect, where you can use your account to search for jobs / opportunities, and book webinars and Adviser appointments.
