KESS MRes Scholarship - Welsh Ontology of Family Law

Teitl y Prosiect: Ontoleg Cyfraith Teulu a’r Gymraeg

Lleoliad: Prifysgol Bangor, Uned Technolegau Iaith Canolfan Bedwyr ar y cyd ag Ysgol y Gyfraith  

 

Tâl blynyddol: £11,313 

Dyddiad cau ar gyfer Ceisiadau: ar agor tan fod yr ysgoloriaeth yn cael ei dyfarnu. Y cyntaf i'r felin felly! 

Ar gael i gychwyn arni cyn gynted ag y bo modd

 

Disgrifiad o'r Prosiect (dim mwy na 500 gair):

Cynigir ysgoloriaeth blwyddyn i astudio ar gyfer gradd Meistr drwy Ymchwil neu MRes ar y pwnc “Safoni Termau Cyfraith Teulu'n Gymraeg drwy gyfrwng Ontoleg”.Ariannir y project hwn yn rhannol gan Gronfa Gymdeithasol Cydgyfeiriant Ewrop (ESF) ac fe’i noddir hefydgan Wasanaeth Llysoedd a Thribiwnlysoedd ei Mawrhydi (HM Courts and Tribunals Service) fel partner allanol y project. 

Cefndir:  Nod yr ymchwil hwn fydd ymchwilio i gysyniadau craidd a thermau allweddol mewn maes penodol o fewn Cyfraith Teulu yn Nghymru, a llunio ontoleg dwyieithog ohonynt. Y bwriad fydd cynorthwyo i wella cyfathrebu Cymraeg a Saesneg drwy astudio’r termau hyn a’u cyfatebiaeth yn y ddwy iaith, gan gynnig termau Cymraeg safonol ar gyfer y termau Saesneg. Bydd canlyniadau’r project yn ddefnyddiol i weithredu Cyfraith Teulu drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg yn llysoedd teulu Cymru. 

Bydd cyflei’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus ddilyn modiwl(au) perthnasol mewn Cyfraith Teulu a / neu Iaith yn ôl yr angen am hyfforddiant pellach. 

Goruchwylwyr Academaidd: 

Y goruchwylwyr fydd Delyth Prys o Uned Technolegau Iaith Canolfan Bedwyr, a Hayley Roberts a Marie Parker o Ysgol y Gyfraith. Bydd cyfle hefyd i weithio gyda Goruchwyliwr Diwydiannol o Wasanaeth Llysoedd a Thribiwnlysoedd ei Mawrhydi, a chysgodi rhai o weithwyr y Gwasanaeth Llysoedd wrth eu gwaith.

Bydd y myfyriwr yn gweithio yn Uned Technolegau Iaith Canolfan Bedwyr, a bydd yn cofrestru yn Ysgol y Gyfraith, Prifysgol Bangor, at ddibenion datblygiad academaidd ac arholi.

Cymwysterau angenrheidiol: 

Rhaid i ymgeiswyr fod â gradd dosbarth cyntaf neu ail uchaf mewn pwnc perthnasol (Y Gyfraith, Cymraeg neu iaith fodern arall etc). Gorau oll os gallant ddangos  prawf o ddiddordeb blaenorol yn y maes, er enghraifft project ymchwil perthnasol fel rhan o gwrs gradd.

1. llythyr cais am ysgoloriaeth KESS i gynnwys Datganiad Personol (100 - 500 gair) am eich diddordebau a’ch sgiliau ymchwil perthnasol (rhestrwch eich holl sgiliau perthnasol, e.e. sgiliau cyfrifiadurol, profiad perthnasol, teitl a disgrifiad byr o brojectau ymchwil y buoch yn rhan ohonynt, etc). 

2. Enwau a manylion cyswllt dau ganolwr a all roi sylwadau ar eich addasrwydd i ymgymryd â rhaglen ymchwil ôl-raddedig.
