Overall aims and purpose

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn ymwneud â modiwlau y mae ar fyfyrwyr angen cael credydau ar eu cyfer mewn prifysgol dramor yn ystod eu blwyddyn dramor. Mae'n ofynnol i fyfyrwyr nad ydynt yn llwyddo i gael nifer isafswm y 15 credyd fesul semester yn ystod eu blwyddyn dramor gyflwyno 'Portffolio Ailsefyll' sy'n cynnwys (1) ymarfer cyfieithu dwy ran a (2) thraethawd.

Os bydd myfyriwr yn methu mwy nag un semester, byddai raid iddo gyflwyno hyd at dri fersiwn gwahanol o'r ymarferiadau a nodwyd eisoes, gan ddibynnu ar gyfuniad eu gradd: Anrhydedd Sengl, Cyd-anrhydedd a 3 iaith (e.e. os bydd myfyriwr cyd-anrhydedd Ffrangeg + Almaeneg yn methu'r ddau semester, yn Ffrainc a'r Almaen, byddai'n rhaid iddo gyflwyno un Portffolio Ailsefyll mewn Almaeneg ac un arall yn Ffrangeg).

Course content

Nid yw'r portffolio ailsefyll yn rhan o'r cwricwlwm modiwlau safonol. Mae'n gysylltiedig ag aseiniadau y disgwylir i fyfyrwyr lwyddo ynddynt fel rhan o'u blwyddyn dramor. Bwriad ymarferion y portffolio yw datblygu ac atgyfnerthu sgiliau academaidd, diwylliannol ac ieithyddol cyffredinol ymhellach, y bydd myfyrwyr wedi eu meithrin yn eu modiwlau a gymerwyd dramor. Bydd y portffolio yn rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr fireinio eu sgiliau cyfieithu ymhellach i'w mamiaith a'u hail neu drydedd iaith, yn ogystal â sgiliau ysgrifennu traethodau a dadansoddi. Ar gyfer y ddau aseiniad cyfieithu, bydd myfyrwyr yn derbyn testunau gwreiddiol gan diwtor o'r grŵp iaith priodol. Ar gyfer aseiniad y traethawd, bydd ar fyfyrwyr angen dewis testun traethawd sy'n ymdrin ag un o'r testunau y bu iddynt eu hastudio dramor. Bydd myfyrwyr yn cael cyfarwyddyd gan diwtor iaith ynghylch testun traethawd priodol.

Rhagorol 70%+: Dealltwriaeth drylwyr o'r testun a ddewiswyd; tystiolaeth helaeth o sgiliau ymchwil annibynnol; gafael ragorol ar eirfa a gramadeg; gallu rhagorol i gyfieithu'r amrywiaeth o destunau gosod.

Da 50-69%: Dealltwriaeth gadarn o'r testun a ddewiswyd; tystiolaeth ddigonol o sgiliau ymchwil annibynnol; gafael dda ar eirfa a gramadeg; gallu da i gyfieithu amrywiaeth o destunau gosod.

Trothwy 40-49%: Dealltwriaeth foddhaol o'r testun a ddewiswyd; tystiolaeth gyfyngedig o sgiliau ymchwil annibynnol; gafael gyfyngedig ar eirfa a gramadeg; gallu cyfyngedig i gyfieithu amrywiaeth o destunau gosod.
