Overview

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu sgiliau academaidd hanfodol ar gyfer llwyddiant academaidd a phroffesiynol. Gyda gweithgareddau a thrafodaethau wythnosol, mae myfyrwyr yn archwilio pynciau fel uniondeb academaidd, chwilio llenyddiaeth, cyfathrebu effeithiol, meddwl yn feirniadol, ystadegau sylfaenol, cyflwyno data, a chynllunio gyrfa. At ei gilydd, mae’r modiwl hwn yn gosod sylfaen gadarn ar gyfer cyflogadwyedd uchel a llwyddiant yn y brifysgol.

Mae asesiadau wedi'u cynllunio i adeiladu a gwerthuso dealltwriaeth myfyrwyr a'u cymhwysiad o'r sgiliau academaidd allweddol a gyflwynir trwy gydol y modiwl.

Bydd cyfres o ddarlithoedd a gweithdai yn cael eu cyflwyno gan staff modiwl a siaradwyr gwadd ar feysydd sy'n berthnasol i sgiliau craidd.

Assessment Strategy

RHAGOROL - Categori A (70%-100%): Bydd myfyriwr rhagorol yn dangos dealltwriaeth ehangach o oblygiadau'r cwestiwn y tu hwnt i'r amlwg, dealltwriaeth dda o'r datblygiadau diweddaraf yn y maes pwnc, ac yn datblygu sgiliau meddwl beirniadol. Bydd y cyfathrebu yn rhugl ac yn groyw, gyda'r gallu i ennyn diddordeb y gynulleidfa. Bydd cyfeiriadau/ffynonellau yn hynod briodol, yn wyddonol, wedi'u gwerthuso'n dda ac yn cael eu hymchwilio'n helaeth. Bydd y myfyriwr hefyd yn gallu dangos gallu i fyfyrio, dadansoddi a thrafod eu cryfderau, gwendidau, a chyfleoedd personol ac academaidd. Mae tystiolaeth o feddwl beirniadol manwl a darllen ehangach yn bwysig ar gyfer graddau A+ ac uwch.

DA - Categori B (60%-69%): Bydd myfyriwr da yn cynhyrchu dadl rymus wedi'i strwythuro'n dda gan ddangos dealltwriaeth dda o'r wybodaeth y gofynnir amdani a gwybodaeth o'r pwnc dan sylw. Bydd y cyfathrebu'n gydlynol ac yn cyfateb i'r gynulleidfa arfaethedig. Bydd cyfeiriadau/ffynonellau yn briodol, yn wyddonol ac yn cael eu gwerthuso'n dda. Dylai'r myfyriwr ddangos gallu i fyfyrio, dadansoddi a thrafod ei gryfderau personol ac academaidd, ei wendidau a'i gyfleoedd.

LEFEL ARALL - Categori C (50%-59%): Bydd myfyriwr sy'n cyflawni graddau lefel C yn dangos dealltwriaeth resymol o'r wybodaeth y gofynnir amdani a pheth gwybodaeth o'r pwnc er gyda rhai diffygion o ran manylder a chywirdeb syniadau. Gwneir ymdrech resymol i gyfleu syniadau, gyda pheth tystiolaeth o ystyriaeth o'r gynulleidfa arfaethedig. Bydd cyfeiriadau/ffynonellau yn briodol er y gallant fod yn gyfyngedig. Dylai'r myfyriwr ddangos gallu sylfaenol i fyfyrio, dadansoddi a thrafod ei gryfderau personol ac academaidd, ei wendidau a'i gyfleoedd.

TROTHWY Categori D (40%-49%): Bydd myfyriwr trothwy yn dangos gallu sylfaenol i ateb cwestiynau gyda gwybodaeth berthnasol, gyda rhywfaint o drefnu meddyliau a dealltwriaeth o'r pwnc dan sylw. Mae'n bosibl y bydd rhai camddealltwriaeth yn amlwg mewn cyfathrebu ond bydd yn dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o'r egwyddorion. Defnyddir cyfeiriadau ond gallant fod yn gyfyngedig neu gallant ddibynnu ar ffynonellau llai priodol. Mae'r myfyriwr yn cael trafferth cysylltu cryfderau personol ac academaidd â chyd-destun ehangach.
