Overview

Mae "Cyflwyniad i bioleg cellog" yn cynnig archwiliad sylfaenol i israddedigion blwyddyn gyntaf o strwythur, swyddogaeth a rheoleiddio celloedd. Mae'r cwrs yn ymdrin â chelloedd ewcaryotig a phrocaryotig, gan bwysleisio rolau organelle mewn metaboledd, trafnidiaeth a signalau. Mae myfyrwyr yn ymchwilio i brosesau cellog fel y gylchred gell, resbiradaeth, a synthesis protein, yn ogystal â mecanweithiau cyfathrebu rhynggellog. Mae'r modiwl yn amlygu amrywiaeth cellog, gwahaniaethu, a'u cyfraniadau i systemau meinwe ac organau. Archwilir perthnasedd biofeddygol ehangach, gan gysylltu bioleg celloedd â dealltwriaeth a thriniaeth clefydau. Bydd myfyrwyr yn archwilio amrywiaeth bywyd microbaidd, gan gynnwys bacteria, firysau, a ffyngau, a byddant yn archwilio eu rolau mewn iechyd, afiechyd, a'r amgylchedd. Trwy'r modiwl hwn, bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o dwf microbaidd, metaboledd, geneteg, a'u rhyngweithio ag organebau lletyol, yn ogystal â chael mewnwelediad i bwysigrwydd microbioleg mewn gwyddorau meddygol a chymhwysol.

Trosolwg o Fioleg Celloedd: Cyflwyniad i strwythur a swyddogaeth celloedd Datblygiadau hanesyddol mewn damcaniaeth celloedd

Cellbilenni ac Organynnau: Adeiledd a swyddogaeth cellbilenni Prif organynnau a'u rolau

Prosesau a Rheoleiddio Cellog: Rheoleiddio cylchred celloedd a phwyntiau gwirio Resbiradaeth cellog a synthesis protein

Arwyddion Cell a Chyfathrebu: Llwybrau signalau mewngellol Mecanweithiau cyfathrebu cell-gell

Cyflwyniad i Strwythur a Swyddogaeth Celloedd Microbaidd Trosolwg o ficro-organebau procaryotig ac ewcaryotig Adeiledd a swyddogaeth celloedd bacteriol, ffwngaidd a firaol Gwahaniaethau yng nghyfansoddiad cellfuriau a goblygiadau ar gyfer triniaeth

Twf Microbaidd, Metabolaeth, a Geneteg Mecanweithiau twf microbaidd ac atgynhyrchu Llwybrau metabolaidd a chynhyrchu egni mewn microbau Hanfodion geneteg ficrobaidd, gan gynnwys trosglwyddo genynnau a threiglo

Assessment Strategy

Cynhelir arholiadau'r modiwl hwn ar y campws mewn amgylchedd dan oruchwyliaeth. Bydd yr arholiadau hyn yn dilyn fformat llyfr caeedig, sy'n golygu na chaniateir unrhyw ddeunyddiau allanol, gan gynnwys nodiadau, gwerslyfrau nac adnoddau ar-lein, yn ystod yr arholiad. Cynlluniwyd y dull hwn i asesu eich dealltwriaeth a'ch defnydd o gynnwys y modiwl o dan amodau safonol a theg.

Trothwy (D- i D+) Mae myfyriwr trothwy yn dangos gwybodaeth sylfaenol o'r ffeithiau hanfodol a'r cysyniadau allweddol a gyflwynir yn y modiwl. Dim ond yn rhannol y mae'r gwaith yn ymdrin â deunydd y modiwl, a gall fod bylchau neu anghywirdebau. Mae dadleuon yn bresennol ond gallant fod heb eu datblygu'n ddigonol, yn brin o ddyfnder, neu'n cynnwys cefnogaeth gyfyngedig. Gall enghreifftiau fod yn denau neu ddim ond yn gysylltiedig yn fras â'r pwyntiau a wneir. Mae diffyg dadansoddi manwl, meddwl beirniadol, a thystiolaeth ategol yn y gwaith. Yn gyffredinol, mae perfformiad yn yr ystod hon yn dangos cymhwysedd isel iawn gyda chynnwys y modiwl, gan adlewyrchu dealltwriaeth sylfaenol ond anghyflawn. Boddhaol (C- i C+) Mae myfyriwr sy'n ennill gradd foddhaol yn dangos dealltwriaeth resymol o'r ffeithiau hanfodol a'r cysyniadau allweddol a gyflwynir yn y modiwl. Mae'r gwaith yn ymdrin â'r deunydd craidd ond gall fod yn ddiffygiol o ran dyfnder a gall amlygu ambell wall neu fylchau mewn gwybodaeth. Mae dadleuon yn bresennol yn gyffredinol ond efallai nad ydynt wedi’u datblygu’n ddigonol neu efallai nad ydynt yn ddigon eglur a chymorth. Mae enghreifftiau, lle cânt eu cynnwys, yn berthnasol ond efallai nad ydynt yn gynhwysfawr nac yn gwbl gyson â'r ddadl. Prin yw'r dystiolaeth o feddwl beirniadol, ond mae gafael sylfaenol ar y deunydd yn amlwg. Mae perfformiad ar y lefel hon yn dangos ymgysylltiad derbyniol â chynnwys modiwlau, ond mae lle i wella o ran dadansoddi, dadlau a chefnogaeth. Da (B- i B+) Mae myfyriwr da yn dangos gwybodaeth ffeithiol drylwyr ar draws pob agwedd ar y modiwl a gall ddarparu enghreifftiau perthnasol lle bo'n briodol. Mae'r gwaith yn dangos dadl resymegol wedi'i strwythuro'n dda a ategir gan ddeunyddiau modiwl. Mae'n adlewyrchu dealltwriaeth gadarn o'r cynnwys, gyda thystiolaeth o ymgysylltu a pheth meddwl beirniadol. Defnyddir enghreifftiau a thystiolaeth yn effeithiol i gefnogi'r ddadl. Mae'r lefel perfformiad hon yn dynodi gafael gref ar y deunydd, gyda mynegiant clir, cydlynol a dealltwriaeth fanwl o gysyniadau craidd. Ardderchog (A- i A) Mae myfyriwr rhagorol yn dangos gwybodaeth ffeithiol drylwyr ar draws pob agwedd ar y modiwl a gall ddarparu enghreifftiau manwl sy'n gwella dealltwriaeth, wedi'i hategu gan ddarllen ychwanegol a gwybodaeth o fodiwlau neu ffynonellau eraill. Nodweddir y gwaith gan ddadl resymegol, gydlynol, wedi'i hategu'n dda sy'n adlewyrchu lefel uchel o ddealltwriaeth. Mae meddwl beirniadol yn amlwg drwyddi draw, ac mae tystiolaeth glir o ymgysylltu â darllen ehangach, yn enwedig ar gyfer graddau A+ ac A. Mae gwaith ar y lefel hon yn dangos mewnwelediad cynhwysfawr, gwreiddioldeb, a gallu i gyfosod a chymhwyso gwybodaeth yn effeithiol ar draws cyd-destunau amrywiol.
