Ymysg y pynciau a drafodr yn y modiwl, bydd: • Dechreuadau Iddewiaeth. • Trosolwg o’r Tanakh (Y Beibl Hebraeg) ac elfennau canolog y grefydd Iddewig, gan gynnwys y cyfamod a'r mitzvot. • Iddewiaeth fyd-eang. • Meddylwyr Iddewig dylanwadol: Moses Maimonides a Moses Mendelssohn. • Ymarfer Iddewiaeth gyfoes. • O Dra-Uniongred i Ryddfrydol: yr enwadau amrywiol o fewn Iddewiaeth fodern. • Materion cyfoes: gwrth-semitiaeth ac Israel-Palesteina.

  • • Cymhwyso syniadau a mewnwelediad athronyddol, themâu a dadleuon gan wahanol ysgolion Iddewig pan yn briodol i gyd-destunau cymdeithasol a disgyblaethol ehangach, gan gynnwys y gwyddorau meddygol a biolegol.

  • • Dangos dealltwriaeth am draddodiadaul athronyddol ac ysbrydol Iddewig yn eu ffurfiau amrywiol a chanolog, a gallu i ymwneud yn ddeallusol â’r traddodiadau hynny.

  • • Dangos dealltwriaeth gadarn a soffistigedig o gymhlethdod amlweddog Iddewiaeth, er enghraifft, ym mherthynas credoau crefyddol, testunau, arferion a sefydliadau, â normau, estheteg, a strwythurau cymdeithasol a diwylliannol ehangach.

  • • Trafod a dangos dealltwriaeth o ffynonellau clasurol Iddewiaeth a’r modd y’u mynegwyd yn ddiweddarach gan ddehonglwyr y gwahanol draddodiadau.
