This session will provide a brief introduction to NVivo, a computer package assisting qualitative data analysis. This computer package is a tool that supports several data analysis approaches – such as thematic analysis or grounded theory. We will briefly explore what we mean by codes and coding before moving on to using NVivo. Please note that this is an online session. The aim of the session is to provide you with an overview of what NVivo could be used for, and an exploration of the main features and functions. I will share some resources which will also be available on Blackboard. 

In order to get the most out of the session, you need to download NVivo on to your laptop (contact IT helpdesk, helpdesk@bangor.ac.uk ), otherwise you will not be able to join in.
