Languages for All

Have you ever wanted to learn another language? Now is your chance to do so. Languages for All offers a range of evening classes in five languages:

  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Chinese (Mandarin).

Our courses are available to Bangor University staff and students, as well as to those outside the University.*

These 10-week language courses are designed to cater for a variety of levels - from beginners to learners who may want to brush up rusty language skills and/or continue from GCSE/A-level studies.

Why learn a language?

Language learning is both enjoyable and challenging, and will encourage you to broaden your horizons, open doors to other cultures and widen your social circle.

The University also offers Welsh-language classes through Welsh for Adults. There are also Welsh classes specifically for current Bangor University students.

*Courses run subject to minimum numbers. Some courses are very popular - in cases where courses are over-subscribed we will operate enrolment on a first-come-first-served basis. The minimum age is 18.
