Be’ Nesa’ Podcast

Be’ Nesa’ (which translates to 'What next') is a new podcast from the Careers and Employability Service. Co-hosted by Beth Edwards (Enterprise Education Development Coordinator) and Ffion Davies (Employer Engagement Officer), the series covers a range of topics with additional guests in each episode.

A new initiative, we’ve been working for the last few months to get everything ready to launch. This has included developing the branding and musical elements.

A big thank you to:

  • All the speakers featured in this series
  • MSParc and their recording studio
  • Mair Williams for work on the branding
  • Will Hampson for his musical compositions.

Meet the Hosts

Image of Beth and Ffion

Beth and Ffion have both graduated recently so have great insight into both life as a student and life in graduate level employment. Beth completed her studies here at Bangor University, lately gaining her PhD in 2022. Ffion graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Management with Law in 2019.

They don’t take themselves too seriously but also live for the deep conversations of life so have thoroughly enjoyed preparing this series’ content for you.

Series 1 - episode overview

In this first series, we have 6 episodes. Each with it’s own theme.

  • Episode 1: introduction with the hosts
  • Episode 2: graduate schemes
  • Episode 3: career stories
  • Episode 4: volunteering
  • Episode 5: Disabilities/barriers
  • Episode 6: career stories (Bangor University staff)

To find out more about the speakers in each episode, keep an eye on our social media. From 10th July you’ll be able to find all the content, speaker details and links alongside the recordings.
