Your Experience
Amir is an academic tutor at Bangor University International College. He teaches a wide range of modules from Postgraduate Business in the UK, IT and communications Skills to Business English.
His role is ensuring that the international Year 1 (IY1) and pre-master students (IIM) receive the best possible learning experience at BUIC. Prior to joining BUIC, he was a Game and Animation lecturer at SAE College in Liverpool. He also had been working in the game, animation and VFX industry as a professional digital content creator and CGI artist. He has years of industry experience as an environment 3D artist and CG animator, at Beano Studio in Dundee, and has collaborated as a compositing artist in Interference Pattern, Edinburgh in Scotland. Amir has a broad knowledge of Computer Graphics and IT skills across the multiple disciplines in teaching and designing digital contents.
He holds an MSC in computer animation and VFX from Dundee University, BA in English Studies and Associate of Science in Animation. Amir is also seeking to obtain his Fellowship of Higher Education (FHEA) at Bangor University.
Interests
Amir has a keen interest in 3D modelling. He is also very fond of playing video games, travelling and spending time with his family.
