Apply now for an ESRC PhD studentship in Financial Economics

Bangor Business School, supported by the ESRC Doctoral Training Centre for Wales, is offering a fully funded +3 (a three year PhD) ESRC Doctoral Training Studentship in the area of Financial Economics starting in September 2015.

The PhD research project aims to apply theoretical and empirical frameworks to analyse the behaviour of the credit rating agencies (CRAs) and their contribution during the recent crisis and post-crisis periods. It aims to investigate the implications of recent regulatory and policy actions and proposals regarding CRAs.

The full studentship awards consist of a stipend of approximately £14,168 per annum and a fee contribution of approximately £4,084. Students will also be eligible to apply for a research allowance (£750 per annum)*.
