International Clubs, Societies and Community Groups

There are a number of clubs within the Students' Union and external community groups that international students are encouraged to join in order to meet new students, make friends and get the most out of their time in Bangor.  By joining some of these groups international students have the opportunity to meet people from other academic departments, other parts of the world and also other parts of the community.

Bangor Students' Union Clubs and Societies

There are currently over 100 clubs and societies in the Students' Union.

The easiest way to join a club or society is to come to Serendipity (Freshers' Fayre), which is held in the Students' Union on Wednesday and Thursday during Welcome Week and in February.  Here the sports clubs and numerous art, culture, hobby, religious and campaign groups gather for you to sign up and get involved in their activities and events held throughout the year.

Visit the Students Unions' website for an A-Z list of all the clubs.
