Applying for September 2026 FAQs

Yes. Some courses at Bangor University are still accepting applications for September 2026 entry. Take a look at our undergraduate courses.

To see which courses are currently accepting applications, use Bangor University’s course search and check the relevant course page.

You can apply until 30 June 2026 but we recommend applying as soon as possible. Any applications received after 30 June 2026 automatically go into Clearing, rather than being considered in the main application cycle.

To apply for an undergraduate place at university you need to apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). When making your UCAS application to Bangor University, use code: B06.

If you're making your first UCAS application for entry to university for this September, make your application to Bangor University as soon as you can. There's lots of advice and useful information on the application process on the UCAS website.

If you've already applied through UCAS for entry to university for this September, but aren't holding any offers, you might be able to add another choice through the UCAS Extra service. This service is for you if you've received decisions from all five universities or colleges and weren't accepted, or if you declined the offers you received. Extra is a free service available for you to apply to one course at a time between 26 February and 30 June. If Extra is available to you, it will show up as an option when you sign in to track your UCAS application.
