Find the course that’s right for you
With a wide choice of degrees across the arts, humanities, sciences and beyond, you can explore what excites you and choose a course that fits your goals.
How To Apply
Applying to Bangor is simple. Just submit your application through UCAS and use our institution code B06.
Apply as early as you can. We start reviewing applications and making offers straight away, so it’s best to apply early.
For 2026 entry:
- The UCAS deadline for medicine is 15 October 2025
- The initial UCAS deadline for all other courses is 14 January 2026
We still welcome applications after this date. Between 14 January and 30 June, UCAS will continue to send applications to universities where places remain available.
Your personal statement is your chance to tell us why you’re excited about your chosen subject. You’ll have up to 4,000 characters on your UCAS profile to explain your interest, experience and what motivates you. Because the same statement goes to all five course choices, make sure the courses you apply for are similar and avoid naming specific universities.
HOW TO DRAFT A WINNING PERSONAL STATEMENT AND WATCH OUR VIDEO
We’re committed to widening participation and welcoming students from a broad range of backgrounds. We use a number of indicators to identify applicants who may face barriers to accessing Higher Education and offer additional support where appropriate.
All undergraduate applications are made through UCAS. You can choose up to five courses, and UCAS will send your application to each university. Bangor University’s UCAS code is B06.
