Discover Economics Conference at Bangor University
Join us for our first Economic Conference for the young people of North Wales hosted at Bangor University Business School in conjunction with Discover Economics and the Welsh Government.
The event will include a series of activities led by speakers from a range of backgrounds, including current economics students. It is designed to give young people a better understanding of economics through presenting illustrative applications of economics in a range of contexts and introducing the careers of professional economists.
Students will have the opportunity to learn more about how to enter the Royal Economic Society, Young Economist of the Year competition, sponsored by KPMG. The competition aims to encourage students to produce their own ideas in analysing contemporary economic problems facing the UK and the world.
