Complaints
Bangor University welcomes comments and suggestions from individuals and groups with whom it has contact, reflecting its commitment to continue to enhance the quality of its provision. If you have a complaint which relates to the University, please follow the relevant procedure outlined below. The procedure that you follow will be dependent on whether you are a member of University staff, a student or member of the public.
Please note that complaints relating to the University’s Welsh Language Policy or the implementation of the Welsh Language Standards will be dealt with by Canolfan Bedwyr.
Staff
Complaints from and about staff are dealt with by Human Resources.
Students
Complaints from students and former students are dealt with by Governance Services.
General Complaints
A general complaint from a member of the public about a particular University college, school, department, service, unit, policy or activity should follow the University’s Complaints Procedure.
Whistleblowing
The University has a Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblowing) Policy, which aims to provide avenues for members of the University to raise serious concerns, disclose information in circumstances that the individual believes shows malpractice, and receive feedback on any action taken.
