Here’s what some of our previous exhibitors have said about the Law Fair:

“We are delighted to work closely with the Law School at Bangor University to offer internships for their students in our practice in London. We provide legal advice on a broad range of areas to clients in both the UK and internationally through our overseas desks. We find that students from Bangor Law School come to us with a strong knowledge of the law and are comfortable dealing with practical situations which allows them to get the most out of their internship.”
Martin Donoghue, Partner, Silverman Sherliker

“Linenhall Chambers is delighted to have supported the Bangor University Law Fair for the third year running. The Law School’s hard work in organising an interesting programme of talks plus bringing together an impressive group of exhibitors made for an enjoyable and useful day for all concerned. In a challenging job market it is important for students to be able to find out about the options potentially available to them; we had many interesting conversations with students throughout the day and feel we were able to give them some insight into a career at the Bar. We hope to be at Bangor again next year; we believe that it’s important that we engage with our future lawyers and also welcome the opportunity to network with the academic staff and other exhibitors.”
Martin Griffiths, Chambers Director, Linenhall Chambers

“We were delighted to be asked to take part in the Bangor Law School Law Fair, and very impressed by the quality and enthusiasm of the students we met. The larger City of London law firms depend on a supply of strong graduates – both law and non-law – and the Law Fair emphasised to us that we need to take the time to explain what our work involves, which is not always obvious to students trying to make informed decisions about their careers in the law. We applaud the law faculty for assembling such a diverse group of participants at the Fair, who together represented a broad spectrum of the job opportunities in the legal sector.”
Rich M Hughes, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright LLP

“We were happy to support Bangor University’s Law Fair for the third year running. We were impressed with the quality and enthusiasm of the students and were glad to provide an insight into a career as a solicitor and/or legal executive, and generally in the law. We hope to be at Bangor again next year.”
Shaun Hughes, Solicitor, Swayne Johnson

“It is a well organized event, structured to give students every opportunity to see and meet people in professions that will be relevant to further their career prospects.”
Kathy Roberts, Magistrates Association

“It was great to have the opportunity to speak with so many students about the CILEx route to a career in law and I was thrilled that following the CILEx talk at the University earlier in the year, that the students were now considering this route which offers more flexibility to earn as you learn.”
Melissa Bramwell, Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer, Allington Hughes Law
