If there was one pill that could prevent a variety of chronic diseases, improve your mood, reduce depression, enhance sleep quality, increase self-esteem, help you develop an athletic physique, and improve cognition, you would surely take it right? Well this pill is now available and its FREE! It's called Physical Activity
On this module, the tutors will show you how you can use physical activity to help people suffering from a variety of chronic diseases. Real patients will come in and share their experiences with you. This module will be really useful to those who wish to have a career in exercise rehabilitation, physiotherapy and lifestyle risk management.
Cynnwys cwrs
The module will consist of interactive seminars and self-study. Students will learn about common chronic diseases including (but not limited to) coronary heart disease, autoimmune diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and multiple sclerosis), stroke, and chronic kidney disease. A novel aspect of this module is that real patients will be coming in to talk to patients about how their condition affects their day to day life as well as the role exercise plays in alleviating symptoms and improving outcomes.
